Welcome to SECT Happy Old Age Home, a haven for abandoned and impoverished women in Surat. Our residence offers a secure and supportive environment where seniors can live with dignity and respect during their final years.
Since our establishment in 2004, we have provided complimentary accommodation to 90 elders, with 30 grandmothers currently residing in our home.
Our Old Age Home relies entirely on donations from individuals and businesses who resonate with our mission of contributing to society.
Old Age Support
The organization's initiatives prioritize hands-on efforts in Healthcare (mobile medical units, eye surgeries), Agecare (support hotlines, homes for elderly, and day facilities, physical therapy), Livelihoods (self-support groups for seniors; connections with government programs), Disaster Relief (such as COVID-19 assistance), as well as Advocacy and Awareness regarding elder rights and policies.
The organization supports disadvantaged seniors to enhance their well-being, aiming for a society where elders enjoy an active, healthy, and respected life. We advocate for India's elderly to express their needs, ensuring they can lead secure, joyful, and dignified lives.
